David Sutcliffe

David Sutcliffe is a corporate director, currently serving on the boards of Sierra Wireless, Ballard Power and E-Comm 911. 

David served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Wireless from May 1995 through October 2005, leading the company's growth from revenues of a few million to a few hundred million dollars.  Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Xillix Technologies and held Vice President and business unit management roles with both Motorola and Sydney Development.  He studied computer science at the University of British Columbia. 

David served as a director and member of the executive committee of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association, he is a founding partner and past Chair of British Columbia Technology Social Venture Partners and he is a past Chair of AceTech.
